STILL NOT SURE?

We understand. Read these FAQs about 2C2P and our services

DOT Sweep FAQs

Will this be a headache to launch?

Zero‑Headache Launch.

We build the yard map, unit list, and 2‑week schedule around dispatch.

We have a single yard POC and one cell number.

Promise: “If this Sweep takes more than about an hour of your personal time end‑to‑end, we’ll credit extra units on the next visit.”

How can my team handle move moving parts? We're already slammed.

Think subtraction, not addition. Our model is built on you having less to manage, not more.

We’re absorbing cab work you’re already supposed to do, not adding new work.

Fewer cab complaints and one weekly summary instead of a stream of fire drills.

Will I have to babysit your crew?

We have SOPs and you have a Dashboard. That means self-policing.

Cab checklists + Photo requirements + Dashboard entries prove the work.

You can check everything from your desk, not in the yard.

What if I don't have the budget for this sweep?

One ugly level 1 cab inspection can cost more than an entire sweep depending on the fines, downtime, and lost load.

On the low end you may hit the $6000 range, but collectively just one of these events can hit north of $20,000.

(You can see more data on this by clicking "view statistics" after clicking the education tab from the home page.)

Couldn't I just buy brakes/tires instead?

You already spend on mechanics. This covers the cab lane, driver environment, and the DOT-visible side of safety.

This sweep gives you a list of cab issues to fix BEFORE an officer sees them, and brings a new standard of cleanliness and safety to your team.

Will this mess up dispatch or upset drivers?

We aim for minimal disruption.

We'll plan around windows they choose.

Rotate units, not yank all at once.

When cabs are cleaner, inspected, and better equipped – drivers usually thank you, they don’t complain.

What if weather or yard chaos hits?

We have a flexible schedule built in.

There are contingency days baked into the 2‑week plan.

If we miss a block, we slide to backup times and keep them updated.

How do I know you're not just some fancy truck wash?

Authority + Mechanism

We were founded by a CDL driver who put in his years on the road. Then he achieved his DOT-inspection certification. We maintain the standards of service set by him.

Every time we touch a unit, we perform the selected service level, perform the same DOT roadside inspection your drivers would face from an officer, ensure that inspection is performed by a DOT‑certified inspector with a full Level 1 checklist, and give you photos + dashboard proof instead of just saying “trust us.”

P.S. (In reality a full level 1 can only be performed with a driver in attendance. That's why we say use a mix of Level 1/DOT Roadside/etc. language. It's also why we have Free Level 1 Driver Cards that you can download so your team can be equipped and know what to expect ahead of time.)

What if we've already tried detailers and they didn't understand DOT or fleet needs?

We’re not a retail detail shop. We focus on fleets, against the DOT list, as an early‑warning system. We offer individual services, but that's not our target and those services exist primarily for solo owner-operators.

The entire objective is to have cleaner rigs and safer roads in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland. That's what our locals deserve, it's what our drivers deserve, and it's what you deserve. The over-regulation we face now is 100% due to national standards slipping and the bar for CDL holders being too low in recent years.

We want to take some of that stress off your plate, and help you maintain a better environment for your team. That way you can focus on your objectives and the drivers can focus on the road.

What if this exposes lots of issues and makes me look bad?

The issues already exist. The Sweep just lets you choose when and how to deal with them instead of DOT deciding for you. Plus, you learning early and proactively isn't a "look bad" outcome. You look good walking into a safety meeting saying "Here’s what we found and fixed" vs "We had no idea."

You bring clarity to the table, which is exactly what we want to help you do.

What if now isn't a good time? We're too busy.

Busy is exactly when this pays

Busy season is exactly when you can’t afford cab chaos. We do the work while you stay focused on freight. Then you can check everything you need to with a few clicks right from your workspace.

What if this doesn't stick?

Two‑step promise

Step 1: In 2 weeks, your yard gets cleaned, inspected, and documented.

Step 2: If you like it, we show you how to put it on a schedule so you don’t slide back.

(If you don't want to, you keep the dashboard and know exactly where you're problems are now.)

Clean & Safe FAQs

What if we can't commit to another recurring vendor?

Trade random cost for planned cost

Right now you pay for cab issues in spikes: fines, delays, drivers refusing trucks, lost loads.

Clean & Safe turns that into a fixed, predictable line item with fewer nasty surprises.

We offer Monthly / Quarterly / Annual lanes – same service, different cash profile.

What if we prepay and it's not worth it?

Terms + review checkpoints :

Quarterly reviews: if cab pass rate and SLA aren’t met and it’s on us, we adjust cadence or scope, not just shrug.

If you know you’re keeping these trucks and drivers long-term, this is the cheapest way to keep cabs handled and emergencies covered.

Plus if you really decide it's not worth it during the contract period, we can mutually opt out with a 30 day notice. We will only keep the funds that cover services already rendered. Everything other than that will be refunded.

What if I don't want another thing to manage?

The program = less to manage, not more.

Once we agree on units and cadence, your job is:

know when we’re coming,

skim the summary after,

open the dashboard if you care or need the info. We handle scheduling, route, execution, and logging.

Who updates the dashboard and reports?

Our crew submits forms and photos from the yard, our system updates the dashboard within 24 hours. You don't touch data entry. You can see everything and pull data at will, without logging anything.

Will this actually reduce violations and complaints?

We track:

- Cab pass rate over time

- Number/type of cab issues found

- Emergency events.

Over 6–12 months, the goal is fewer red flags and less cab chatter from drivers and DOT. We'll measure and report transparently. If we have a 6-12 months of data that doesn't support what we're doing for you, you will be the first to know.

What if our trucks change routes or we add trucks?

Custom cadence is the center of our program. That means we have flexible scope. We update unit lists and cadence as needed. Your program follows your real fleet, it isn't frozen in day-one state.

We will never penalize you for change, if you add tractors or shrink, it won't impact your benefits from payment selection. (Monthly / Quarterly / Annually.)

How do I sell this up the chain?

We just provide the safety + driver story in CFO language

So if your goal is selling it up the chain provide them a one-pager.

"Cost vs snapshot of fines, downtime, driver turnover"

“Here’s what we caught and fixed in the Sweep”

“Here’s the monthly cost to keep that under control.”

What if our shop or mechanics feel stepped on?

We complement, we don't compete.

We’re your cab team. Your shop keeps trucks rolling; we handle where the driver lives and what DOT sees when they open the door.

We've always done it on the fly, as needed. Why change?

As needed is why it’s chaotic.

If ‘we’ve always done it that way’ was working, you wouldn’t be here. On the fly = surprises; program = fewer surprises.

What if we start and then stop?

Term language: 6–12 month term with clear off‑ramp and recommit points.

We’re not asking you to marry us for 10 years, we’re naming a window to prove this earns its keep.

2C2P FAQs

Are you a detailer, mechanics, or software company?

We're a cab safety & compliance service. Cleaning and detailing is a part of that, but inspections are too. We also provide a dashboard and photo storage you can access which is maintained for you.

What if we already have telematics / inspection software?

Software is only as good as the people and process feeding it. We provide the crew and SOPs that keep cab data accurate, with photos, without your team burning time and resources on repeat.

Think of us as : People + process, not just tools.

Why trust you over bigger vendors?

Depth over breadth. We only do cabs and DOT cab-related inspections in this region. We're specialized instead of trying to sell you everything.

Locally focused. Cleaner rigs and safer roads in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.

What happens if you mess something up?

If we miss something or an issue comes back to us, we:

Fix the work,

Update the record,

Adjust our process so it doesn’t happen again.

You’ll never have to beg us to own a mistake.

Why wouldn't I just hire someone in-house

Real math + complexity

One decent tech on payroll = wages + payroll tax + benefits + management + tools + truck.

We give you a ready‑made system and team:

No HR risk,

No management overhead,

No capex on vehicles/equipment, at a cost you can turn up or down per SOW.

Not to mention all the training and quality slippage, experimenting with proper compensation to keep the new positions churn down. You could really roll those dice and end up with a new W2 employee who leaves you in the exact same position.

What if you don't show up as promised?

SLA + visibility

We map the service windows, you get a report of work within 24‑hours, emergency windows are spelled out in writing.

Plus the Dashboard + Photo logs prove where/when we worked. (All photos are organized by date of service. You'll know every time we show up, what we did, and any flags/issues we found.)

What if my yard isn't a good fit?

We are honest.

If the yard is too small, unstable, or there isn't proper access/safety we will tell you that.

If we can’t serve your yard well, we’d rather not start. When we do start, it’s because we’re confident we can keep our word.

What if I don't want to sign off on this and have it fail?

Test‑then‑commit.

DOT-Sweep first, then the Clean & Safe Program if it makes sense. That's why we have a premium price point for the Sweep, we want you to know before you jump.

You’re not betting your career on a theory; you’re testing a clear, small scope and making a decision based on your own numbers.

We've been burned by vendors before. What if you're like them?

We don’t ask you to trust a promise. We ask you to look at your own data after we’ve worked and make your call.
